Let me introduce myself…

I’m a writer and storyteller.

I blog about my ongoing journey of self-acceptance,
the challenges of having AuDHD, and my experience as a writer.

I write short stories to challenge my creativity often combining
the most random prompts.

I am also writing a novel, that started as one of these short stories,
and hope to have many books published in the future.

My mission is to inspire and support writers and creatives
by sharing my journey, offering practical advice,
and fostering a community where authenticity,
creativity, and personal growth thrive.

Why I started the Blog…

When I started this website, I knew I wanted to write and that the goal was to build a following so that one day when I publish my books people would know who I am and want to buy them. That was all I knew.

I didn’t know what I wanted to write about. I didn’t know how to tell my story. No matter how many marketing and content courses I did, I couldn’t turn “I just want to write and inspire and tell my story and hopefully, people can relate and I help someone along the way” into a niche. I didn’t know how to position myself or what my messaging should be. To be fair I didn’t even know I needed a position or a message!

So I just did it and am learning along the way and give myself permission to do it badly as long as I keep doing it.

My entire life has been leading me here and being diagnosed on the Autism spectrum on top of having ADHD has given me a direction. Even though I know I will veer off the path many many times, I also know that will I get there in the end. This is my story as I navigate being me – a writer, a storyteller, and a neurodivergent.

All about the writing…

As far as I can remember I’ve loved writing, but life happened and bills had to be paid so I did all the other jobs.

If I imagine the perfect world, I would have a life that supports being able to write all day, attend seminars with other writers, read every book I can get my hands on, explore settings for my stories, and dive into the world completely.

I write short stories to hone my skills and work my writing muscles. I created the YOU ChooseDay feature to challenge myself – throwing together random elements, matching them with a genre, and then writing a unique story.

Every story gets me closer to my dream.
